International Liege Rally

 

The International Liege Police Rally is in it’s 59th year and combines a closed stage rally with road linking sections for both motorcycles and cars.

 

The event is run over four days with one day competing  a set circuit with a number of stages several times . The bikes and cars run at different times to ensure the safety of these competing.

 

The motorcycle entry from the MPMC is the highest in any event as a competent rider on a suitable road bike can take part for a very small outlay.

 

The car section is far more onerous, requiring a fully equipped FIA standard vehicle, meaning that the car entry list is small but if you already have a rally or circuit car then cost is within reason.

 

The Met team joins with a number of other British police motor clubs under the FBPMC to compete against fellow officers from around Europe in this highly competitive but friendly event.

 

The next event is 18-24th May 2015.
