2010 was my first year out in LIEGE, I was unsure about going at first as I didn’t really know what to expect from the event and my competitive riding experience was nil. I am so glad that Chris Rigg encouraged me to go because I had a fantastic time in every respect, and everyone on the team was really friendly, welcoming and easy to get along with.

The accommodation was perfect, although it was a long way from the rally route. For me this was a bonus because it meant 45 minutes of riding heaven, beautifully surfaced roads sweeping through amazing scenery with barely a car in sight.

The race itself was awesome, if you want to get your adrenaline pumping this was the place to be. Unfortunately my race came to a premature end after an altercation with a tree stump on lap 3, my bike was mangled, I was battered and bruised and whisked off to for x-rays but as I lay there in the hospital all I could think about was how I could get my bike fixed up in time for next years event.
